Identify ten (10) patients that may benefit from 0.5 mg once daily Colchicine (MyinflaTM ER) and meet the DEMONSTRATE program eligibility criteria.

 

Data entry is de-identified and all management decisions are the discretion of the participating physician.

 

Eligibility Criteria:

• Age > 18 years

• Prior Myocardial Infarction

• Not currently treated with Colchicine

• No contraindications to Colchicine*

• Ability to optimize patient's secondary prevention management within the next month (e.g. regularly scheduled appointment date or ability to schedule virtual / in person follow-up visit)

• Unencumbered access to Colchicine (Myinfla ER):

  • Private insurance

  • Ability to cover out of pocket**

* Contraindications to Colchicine: strong P-glycoprotein (P-gp) inhibitors or strong CYP3A4 inhibitors, severe renal impairment (eGFR < 30 mL/min), severe hepatic impairment, existing blood dyscrasias.
